Note: As of November,
2009, I have retired. I am leaving the website in place for now, as it
contains much useful information, and it took countless hours to collect and
assemble all of this.

ProductsNo, I don't sell products. However, I do buy products. The hardest part of buying computer-related products is making a good choice. One of the sources that I depend on when choosing a product is PC magazine. While nobody can guarantee that a particular product will be right for you, it helps to know the strong and weak points of a product, as seen by people who evaluate computer products as part of their profession. You can visit PC Magazine's product guides here. Another source, added in December 2008, is Network World's IT Product Guides, here. Cool StuffSome products catch my eye as being especially useful and/or unique. Although I can't specifically recommend or endorse them, I'd like to share them with you. It's up to you to determine if the product is right for you. Look here. Free StuffDon't want to spend money? There are more free programs available than you'll know what to do with. However, keep in mind the expression that "there's no such thing as a free lunch". Some "free" programs may install spyware on your computer or use your email address to send more spam. If you're not sure of the source, always scan downloaded files with your anti-virus program before running them. Still interested in "free" programs? Proceed with caution, and at your own risk. Look here:
Educational DiscountsYou can get copies of software at half-price or less using "educational discounts". You usually don't have to be a full-time student to qualify (although you must have some link to education). Some sources to check out:
